Screened-in Porch Fall Makeover
First off, I'd like to say hello to all my new followers - thanks for joining in on the fun!
This week, I've been concentrating my efforts outside. I've changed up my planters, added some gourds, and other Fall touches to our patio. Now, it's time to turn my attention to the screened-in porch.
The screened-in porch is one of my favorite places to be in the Summer, and also in the Fall with some simple changes.
Summer Porch
I tweaked the layout to make it more mud room-esque with additional space for shoes. The colder the weather, the bigger the shoes!
And added some Fall touches (gotta love reversible cushions!)
And a blanket to wrap up in.
No more puddles of water on our wood floor! I borrowed the idea of the boot tray filled with river rock from Ashli at Maillardville Manor - check out her blog for great ideas on organized, green living.
This space is definitely feeling more Fall and a lot more functional!
