Patio Plans

Last weekend was beautiful, prime Carolina Fall weather and we made the most of it, including our first fire on the new patio. It was heavenly, as long as I ignored the wonky fire pit and mismatched furniture. Fortunately the s'mores where a good distraction. 

While a big budget overhaul isn't in the cards at the moment, a girl can always dream of future plans. Besides have you ever looked for patio items in cooler months? The selection isn't exactly overwhelming...

For now my dreams consist of moving most of our wrought iron furniture from the porch to the patio, maybe adding a more comfy chair or two, side tables and of course a bar cart. Tall planted evergreens to anchor the space and string lights to cast that necessary glow. And you know it wouldn't be a cozy fall patio without a touch of plaid.
