5 Inspirational Porches That Make Me Go Hmmm...

The dust has settled on the holiday season, the decorations are all stored away (hopefully) and now things are looking a little sad and barren. Especially on my front porch.

With Spring right around the corner, I’m thinking a little front porch refresh is in order.

These 5 images are causing me to rethink EVERYTHING.

Ok, maybe not EVERYTHING, but definitely some things … mostly to do with our front porch.

Loving the simplicity of this design.

Two lantern, two pots.

Do we need more??

And anyone and everyone that knows me, knows of my love for symmetry.

This would be very predictable of me.

Not normally a girl who likes door hangings (other than a wreath during the holidays) I’m surprised how much I like the boxwood wreath.

And then there are the lanterns.

Of course the symmetry is spot on.

It’s all very cozy and welcoming.

Definitely not too much of a stretch for me.

Groupings of weathered pots really make my heart go aflutter.

But all those plants to maintain? Now, that makes me nervous.

Still, I do love the idea of this.

A wee bit of a departure…

This is where things start to get crazy!

What is this asymmetrical design?!? And why am I drawn to it?

Usually, SO not my thing.

And don’t even get me started about my left to right, bigger to smaller issues.

So why does it having rethinking my whole love affair with symmetry?

I might need help.

The hanging basket is definitely NOT for me, but that dog statue sure is cute.

Which has me thinking maybe I need to incorporate some non-living, non-green things.

What the what? What is happening to me?

And most importantly, what am I going to do next? Some really big questions here, people.

I have a lot to think about.

Until next time…
