A Global Inspired Living Room

Last weekend I had the pleasure of finishing off a project for the cutest, newly wed couple. You may remember their moodboard from back in the day...yes, this project took awhile! But good things come to those that wait, or so I have been told :)

It was a pretty yucky day outside, but I grabbed a couple of quick shots on my phone as I walked out the door (it was a Saturday after all) to share with you.

We went with two club chairs from Pottery Barn, that they quickly decided to have scotch guarded (always a good choice), and hung their collection of art which really added to the global look and feel they were going for. Love those pillows form World Market.

Their couch was truly the investment piece of the whole space. The chestnut leather will only get better with time and definitely age with them.

HomeGoods for the win with some fun global inspired accents for the mantel and surfaces.

You know I love to mix different styles and this blue distressed cupboard was perfect for hiding their electronics.

Special shout out to the ottomans for bringing in some much needed pattern and a touch of whimsy, oh and the occasional seating is a plus, too.

Super fun project to work on with a great couple! Thanks to Jenny and Will for allowing me into their home and trusting the vision.

Can you believe it's the half way point to summer break - where is the time going? Zoinks!

More to come...
